INTERNSHIP EXPERIENCE:

My internship with PSECU (Pennsylvania State Employees Credit Union) has helped me to deal with member issues, work as team, and improve on my sales skills. I have also learned everything about the credit union world and many financial instruments and tools. Having an internship is very beneficial to supplement classroom material and enhance business skills. This internship has also allowed me to learn effective time management considering a full coursework load and involvement in various campus organizations.

STUDENT/FACULTY RESEARCH PROJECT:

I wrote a research paper last semester to fulfill a requirement of the Honors Program. The subject of the paper was “The Rise and Fall of the Sub-Prime Mortgage Market. What led to the Meltdown?” The paper related to my pervious internship with Wilmington Finance, which was a sub-prime mortgage company. It was a great experience to do very in-depth independent research and work closely with a professor to achieve my set goals for the paper.
