The dedication of the faculty and all of the resources available to assist students’ needs.
TWO INTERESTING THINGS ABOUT ME:
I will be graduating from Shippensburg at age 20 and I studied abroad during summer 2007 at the Universidad de Malaga, Spain.
CAMPUS ORGANIZATIONS/SPORTS/ACTIVITIES:
I am a member of the Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE), and have participated in the New Student Orientation Team, African-American Organization, Martin Luther King Program, and Women of Color organizations.
INTERNSHIP EXPERIENCE:
I have interned every summer during my collegiate career at the Philadelphia Health Management Corporation. PHMC is a non-profit, public health organization committed to improving the health of the community through outreach, education, research, planning, technical assistance, and direct services. Working in the accounting department, I have been exposed to the real-life business atmosphere and have learned invaluable skills and tools that will be very beneficial to my career.
PLANS AFTER GRADUATION:
I plan to work for a while then pursue an MBA in graduate school.
