Academic Affairs Assessment Team Goals
The AAAT is a faculty-led and management-supported multidisciplinary task force with members from the College of Arts & Sciences, the College of Education and Human Services, the College of Business, and the College of Special Programs & Student Services. The AAAT also has ex-officio members from the management and the Student Senate.
The overarching goals of the AAAT are:
- Expand the culture of assessment across academic departments.
- Enhance the conceptual framework of assessment with a protocol that guides departments in the assessment process.
- Augment the use of assessment results to improve the students’ learning experience.
- Facilitate faculty training on assessment of student learning outcomes across academic departments.
