Preparing Your Plan B
What should I do now to prepare in case I do not successfully complete the Summer Bridge Program?
- Make sure you have applied to the alternate school you are interested in attending
- Take the appropriate placement testing at your alternate school.
- Ensure you have sent your alternate school your financial aid information.
Why is it important that I make plans for not attending Ship ...
The summer bridge program ends Mid-August and grades for the summer program will be distributed approximately 5-7 days after the summer term ends. Many fall semesters begin as early as August 25th. If a student does not achieve a "C" grade in either of the two courses they have just completed, they will not be permitted to attend the fall semester at Ship and will have a VERY limited amount of time to start the process of enrollment at another post-secondary institution. While some students have successfully gotten enrolled at another post-secondary institution in that small amount of time, others have not and had to wait until the spring semester, thus postponing their return to Ship.

Before the Semester Begins...

- Transfer your course information from the summer program to your alternate school.
- Transfer your placement scores from Shiportake the placement test with your alternate school.
