Using Your Plan B

I have to use my Plan B, now what?

Before the Semester Begins...

1. Sign up for courses with your alternate school; you must complete at least 9 credits.
2. Transfer your course information from the summer program to your alternate school.
3. Transfer your placement scores from Ship—or—take the placement test with your alternate school.
4.  Contact financial aid to transfer your information.
5.  Inform Ship Admissions of your plans to return to Ship. Click here for a sample letter you can send to Admissions.

During the Semester…

1.  Make sure you are working towards a 2.2 or better for ALL classes taken.
2. Keep the ASP Transition Counselor up to date on contact information or changes you may have made to your schedule.
3. Meet with the ASP Transition Counselor in late October/early November to ensure you will be ready to return to Ship in the spring.

Once the Semester Ends...
