Welcome to the Fall Welcome Week Website!
Participate in New Student Fall Welcome Week &
Student Success Conference 2015 Programs
August 20 to 27, 2015
Students, you have made one of the best choices of your life: to go to college. We hope that you are excited about your choice to come to Shippensburg and join the Ship family. Whether you are coming directly from high school, coming back to college after years of life experience, or are transferring from another college or university, we hope you will take advantage of every opportunity made available to you during the Fall Welcome Week and that you will participate fully in all of the programs designed for your benefit as part of the Welcome Week program.
So take some time, explore this website, and take care of any "to do list" items as they become available. Keep apprised of the deadlines for registering for Orientation and for Academic Day Programs. Please also check out the Question and Answer sections available via the links below. If you don't see an answer to your question there, please take a moment and send an email. We will respond to your question and post a reply for the benefit of your colleagues and yourself. We can't wait to see you!
Your commitment to your education will allow you to inspire your future!
Congratulations to our newest first year and transfer students! Orientation is done. Now we have to focus on the beginning of the fall semester.
All new students are asked to participate in all Fall Welcome Week activities that are designed to "Inspire Your Future."
In the coming weeks before you arrive back on campus, we ask that you:
1) Check your email regularly, at least 3 times each week and act on all items.
2) Make sure you turn in your health forms, and complete alcohol edu requirements.
3) Sign-up for service-learning opportunities as part of Welcome Week. Click here.
4) If you are thinking about an on-campus job, visit the Career and Community Engagement Center website for more information. Click here.
