Random Student ImagesShip's School Counselor Connection

This is a free service that gives registered guidance counselors access to view up-to-date information on their student's application status via the Web.

To access Ship's School Counselor Connections web site, counselors must register online by providing their high school code, creating a User ID and Password. Upon verification you will receive access to view the following:

  • A list of all applicants from your school to Shippensburg University.
  • Each applicant's current status.
  • Any special program for which they are being considered.

Student Profile Information

Please note this profile is not an absolute, but a guideline. We review each application on an individual basis and make the decision we feel will best serve that student. We base our admissions decision primarily on academic performance and SAT/ACT scores. Recommendation letters, activities, and personal essays are recommended, but not required. If submitted, this information will be reviewed during the admissions process and taken into consideration. This information is especially helpful when reviewing a "borderline" student. Personal essays and recommendation letters are also taken into consideration by our Scholarship Committee.
