Thank you for your interest in our 2014 Summer K-12 Institute classes at Shippensburg University. Institute classes are intensive 1-2 week classes designed for K-12 educators.

I am pleased to announce that we have received approval to waive three fees for such classes in summer 2014: 1) Activity Fee ($16 per credit), 2) Comprehensive Health Fee = ($11 per credit), and 3) Student Union Fee ($18 per credit). For a standard 3 credit class, these waived fees total to $135. (Note that all fees listed here reflect amounts for PA residents.)

The costs associated with 2014 Summer K-12 Institute classes are as follows (based on PA residency). This represents a return to the same tuition/fee structure for K-12 Institute classes as used in summers prior to 2012, albeit at different dollar amounts as determined by PASSHE’s Board of Governors.

·         Tuition = $442 per credit

·         Technology Tuition Fee = $21 per credit (note that per PASSHE Board of Governor’s policy 1999-02-A, this is considered a tuition cost)

·         Educational Services Fee = $69 per credit

Please don’t hesitate to contact me should you have any questions regarding course fees.
