Jesse S. Heiges Distinguished Alumnus Award 2005

Dr. Anthony Ceddia with Michael H. Hady, III, '80

Michael H. Hady, III, '80, is one of four recipients of the 2005 Jesse S. Heiges Distinguished Alumnus Award. Hady’s first job was with Capital Blue Cross in marketing. He later was at Meyersdale Community Hospital as an assistant administrator/controller, and Memorial Hospital in York where he was director of marketing and development. He also was executive director for the Healthy York County Coalition. In 1999, he was named to his current position as vice president of business development at Memorial Hospital.

Other recipients are Carmen F. Bria Jr., '73, Mark S. Denke '78, and Patricia A. Poltrack Rainey '71. This year the Lifetime Achievement Award was also given to Garnet Schellhase '48.
