The Business Management (BSBA) program will provide you with a broad understanding of a variety of systematic business practices, techniques, and philosophies. The program stresses the mastery of key managerial concepts from the perspective of how they affect the behavior, performance, and satisfaction of individuals and how individual performance and satisfaction contribute to organizational efficiency and effectiveness. Special attention is devoted to the necessity of adapting to environmental conditions. You will need to complete 120 credits in the following areas:
- General education courses: All students are required to complete the university's general education program, which provides a balanced liberal arts foundation.
- Business core courses: This core includes economics, finance, information systems, marketing, organization behavior and business law as well as other business subjects.
- Management courses: This sequence of courses provides the necessary technical knowledge with respect to tools, techniques and concepts.
Possible double majors include finance, accounting, MIS, accounting, supply chain management and public administration.
Recommended minors include psychology, computer science and technical/professional communications.
