The Environmental Steering Committee is pleased to announce SU's first Earth Day speaker, Dr. George Woodwell, founder, director emeritus, and senior scientist at theWoods Hole Research Center. Dr. Woodwell will be speaking about the urgent issue of climate change in his talk entitled “Awkward Facts about Climate Change: Laissez Faire Hell or Garden of Eden?” He will be speaking on Thursday April 24 at 3:30 pm in Rowland Hall 200.
