Graduate Commencement

Due to anticipated strong weather conditions this evening, graduate students are to report to the Luhrs Performing Arts Center rather than to the Student Rec Center. Students are to enter the LPAC through the Performance Doors which are located on the parking lot side of the LPAC closest to the Student Rec Center. A sandwich board will indicate the Performance Doors. We encourage graduates to lock all belongings in their cars or give items to guests for safekeeping. No lockers will be available. Just prior to the ceremony, students will process from the second floor of the LPAC to the stage. The professional photographers will take pictures during the ceremony but will not be able to take pictures before the ceremony. We are working on having them available after the ceremony at the reception in Reisner Dining Hall.
Congratulations on the completion of your graduate studies at Shippensburg University. These links contain important information for master’s degree candidates planning to finish their degree requirements during the 2013 spring semester and for August graduates who wish to participate in the May ceremony.
All graduating master’s degree candidates and their guests are invited to attend the Graduate Commencement Ceremony and the Reception. The ceremony will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 10, 2013, in the H. Ric Luhrs Performing Arts Center, and the reception will follow immediately after in the Tuscarora Room, Reisner Dining Hall. All candidates are required to RSVP using the form below.
Guest tickets are not required.
