Emergency
Students with health emergencies can be seen without an appointment when the Health Center is open, 7:30 a.m. through 11:30 p.m. daily.
If you become seriously ill or injured during the hours between 11:30 p.m. and 7:30 a.m., contact your resident assistant and they will alert the nurse on duty. If the RA is not available, or you live off-campus, call Etter Health Center at (717)-477-1458 to speak to a nurse. The nurse will direct you what action to take next. If a phone is not available, come directly to Etter Health Center.
The phone number for the police is:
(717) 477-1444, or 1444 if on campus
or for emergencies dial: 1911
At the discretion of the nurse, a physician may be called at any hour. For some emergencies, the nurse may send you directly to the hospital.
