If any courses are oversubscribed, students will be given priority based on the number of credit hours they have earned. Course descriptions are available here. Dr. Alison Dagnes is a professor in the Political Science Department and teaches classes on political behavior. She is the author of "Politics on Demand: The Effects of 24-Hour News on American Politics" (2010) and she frequently speaks on the topic of elections and the modern media. Her current research examines ideology and political satire and her book "A Conservative Walks Into a Bar" will be published this summer. Prior to receiving her doctorate in Political Science from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, Dr. Dagnes was a producer for C-SPAN in Washington, DC, which sounds more boring than it actually was.

This class will explore the history and literature of Britain thematically from the time of Ancient Roman occupation through the Romantic period. This course offers a study abroad experience as well, which will enable students to continue their study of history and literature in London!
