Major Scholarships Advising Workshop:  Study Abroad Scholarships, Hosted by Mary Burnett

The federal government provides financial support for study abroad opportunities around the world.  Students who are current recipients of Pell Grants are eligible to apply for Gilman Scholarships, and all students are eligible to apply for Boren, Critical Languages, and Freeman-Asia Scholarships.

All students who intend to register for Honors courses for the spring 2015 semester must contact Cindy Poe, Honors secretary, at cmpoe@ship.edu with the Honors courses they would like to schedule and their SUID number. If any courses are oversubscribed, students will be given priority based on the number of credit hours they have earned. Course descriptions are available here. Plan ahead! A tentative list of Honors courses that will be offered in Fall 2015 will be posted on the Honors Program website before registration begins.
