Downloading Respondus

Respondus is a powerful tool for creating and managing exams that can be printed to paper or published directly to Blackboard. Exams can be created offline using a familiar Windows environment, or moved from one eLearning system to another. The University has purchased a campus-wide software. The license is available to all faculty and must be renewed on your computer every year.

How do I request a Respondus software?

  1. Contact the Computer Center (x3499)  if Respondus is not on your computer.

You can download this software on your office computer, home computer, notebook, lab computer, etc. FYI: This software will expire July 31of every year and a new access key will be needed to continue using the software. Put that date/info on you calendar.

The Respondus program is asking for a new key. How do I obtain the key?

Contact us at idds@ship.edu.
