Shippensburg University uses Zoom for it's official synchronous video conferencing tool.  As a student of Shippensburg University your are able to create a basic zoom account.  You may be asked to participate in an online zoom session for your classes and you may do so whether or not you set up your shippensburg zoom account.  Accessing an instructor led session will be available through a link in your course content area.

First-Time Login - Account Setup (Student):  This guide will show you how to login to zoom and download the zoom app for the first time using your shippensburg email address and password.

Managing Account Settings and Your Personal Meeting Room (Student):  This guide will show you how to update your zoom account settings and modify your personal meeting room.

Plagiarism Detection - Turnitin

Instructors have the option of creating assignments that utilize the plagiarism detection program Turnitin.  If they have opted to enable this feature then you will be required to submit your assignment to Turnitin through the Assignment Submission folder tool.  Enabling this feature is the responsibility of your instructor and if enabled will be done automatically when you submit your file via the submission folder.

Submitting Assignments:  This guide will show you how to submit a file to your instructor using the Assignment Submission Folder tool.

Reviewing Your Turnitin Report:  After submitting your assignment to a turnitin enabled submission folder, you may be able to review the turnitin report.   This guide will show you how to access your turnitin report if available.  This process may take time so if the report does not appear right away we recommend leaving and returning to review it later. Note:  Instructors have the option to display the report to you or not.
