International Education Week 2010

Grace B. Luhrs Elementary School (GBLUES) students created 20 flags to help celebrate international education week at Shippensburg University.  The 20 flags represent twenty countries that are represented by students on campus.  Students from kindergarten through fifth grade worked on the flags along with their teachers and university students.

In 2009, SU Student John-Paul Bennett participated in an NSF-funded research experience for undergraduates (REU) that took him to China for a portion of his summer.  Together with one of the REU program advisors, Dr. Roberta Soltz - Bloomsburg University, they presented one of our International Education Week programs.  Check out their powerpoint presentations by clicking on the links.  Dr. Roberta Soltz , Mr. John-Paul Bennett
