Online Virus Scanner

As a service to all Shippensburg students in order to help remove threats to their system security, Shippensburg University Student Help Desk provides easy access to a number of online virus scanners.  The online virus scanner that is recommended for use is offered by McAfee and can be accessed by clicking the link below.

It is important to note that online virus scanners are by no means recommended as a source of protection against malware threats.  The best protection against malware threats is to have up-to-date antivirus software running on your machine at all times.  Please visit our Computer System Cleanup Page for more information.  Observance and consideration of the user agreement of any online scanner is recommended prior to running the scanner on your machine.  It is also important to note that ONLY ONE online scanner should be accessed at any time on a single machine.
