The Washington Center
The Washington Center for Internships and Academic Seminars [http://www.twc.edu/] is an independent, nonprofit organization serving hundreds of colleges and universities in the United States and other countries by providing selected students challenging opportunities to work and learn in Washington, D.C. for academic credit. Eligible students will receive a $5,500 Pennsylvania Scholarship toward the program.
Students are placed, according to their interests and career goals, with federal agencies, congressional or judicial offices, public interest groups, non-profit organizations, and others. Interns work full-time, 4 1/2 days per week, attend a required course, and attend seminars and events.
