Free Tutoring!
Overview
The Learning Center provides free tutoring for all students enrolled at Shippensburg University. Our tutors are dedicated to helping students through one-on-one tutoring and small group sessions to develop independent learning strategies and assist in content support in most general education courses including math, English, sciences, social sciences, modern languages, and a number of other subjects.
Who are the Tutors?
Tutors at the Learning Center include both undergraduate and graduate students who maintain a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average. Our tutors work toward College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA) certification and are highly trained and capable of helping students achieve their learning goals.

Scheduling an Appointment
Tutoring is available Monday through Thursday 10am- 9pm and Sunday evenings 5pm-9pm.

Student Preparation for a Session
After scheduling an appointment, you will want to make sure you are prepared for your session by bringing materials that will help make the session more productive. You should bring along textbooks, lecture notes, assignments, syllabus, and any other related course materials to your tutoring session.
