Major Computer Science Related Databases

  • ACM Digital Library - This database has two main sections: The ACM Digital Library provides comprehensive online collection of ACM publications; the Guide to Computing Literature provides the most comprehensive indexing and abstracting for the academic literature of computer science.

  • MathSciNet - This is the comprehensive database to mathematical literature, including substantial coverage of computer science. Includes the Mathematics Subject Classification system.

  • CiteSeer - Similar to the "Guide" section of ACM Digital Library, this freely available database covers the academic literature of computers science, including powerful citation searching features.

  • Computers and Applied Sciences Complete - A largely, mostly full-text database of periodical articles on computer science and other applied fields.

  • Safari Tech Books Online - a massive online collection of computer science books.

  • WorldCat - the world's largest book database - a shared catalog of world library holdings.

  • Academic Search Complete - the major general full-text periodical database, with significant coverage of computer science related topics.
