Subscribed eBook Collections

NetLibrary - Online collection of over 15,000 eBooks across all subject areas.
Safari: Tech Books Online - A specialized collection of computer science and technology related eBooks. Search for information across the latest books from major publishers like O'Reilly, Microsoft, and Peachpit. Note: Shippensburg University provides access to ~1300 titles. Click on the Library tab to view titles in the SU Collection.

Digital Book Index - This site provides access to electronic books from many of the most important web e-book collections. The great value in this smaller selective site is that it includes texts from a wide range of digitization projects. Access is free but very brief registration is required.
Google Book Search - The largest collection of electronic books. It includes both free e-books as well as snippets of books not available for free.
Internet Archive - a large digital collection which includes 1.6+ million digitized books/texts.
Open Library - a digital library catalog with records for 23+ million books and full-text for over 1 million. Sponsored by the Internet Archive.
Project Gutenberg - A collection of some 20,000+ electronic books in the public domain.
The Online Books Page - A collection of some 35,000+ electronic books.
