Schumann Piano Concerto

Borodin, Symphony No. 2 in B Minor

Romantic Masterpieces of the 19th Century

The Shippensburg University-Community Orchestra presents SU music faculty member Margaret Lucia in Robert Schumann’s magnificent piano concerto in A minor. Following the intermission, the orchestra will perform Alexander Borodin’s enchanting, melodic, and powerful Symphony No. 2 in B minor.  This music reminds us why audiences love 19th century Romantic orchestra repertoire: great melodies, rich harmonies, and exciting endings!
