| Alumnus, Pennsylvania's First Lady to speak at commencements |
An alumnus and Pennsylvania’s First Lady will present addresses during Shippensburg University’s Spring graduate and undergraduate commencement ceremonies, respectively. Joel Covert, a 2006 master’s degree recipient, will speak at the graduate ceremony at 7 p.m. May 1 in the H. Ric Luhrs Performing Arts Center. Judge Marjorie O. Rendell, the 43rd First Lady of Pennsylvania, will present the address during the undergraduate ceremony at 11 a.m. May 2 in Seth Grove Stadium. |

An agreement signed May 15 between HACC and Shippensburg University will help students in HACC’s Honors Program to take advantage of honors courses available at Shippensburg when they transfer. |
