Shippensburg to host Association of American Geographers

Nearly 100 geography students and faculty members from throughout the region, including some from Tennessee, will be at Shippensburg University Nov. 2 and 3 as the university hosts the annual meeting of the Middle States Division of the Association of American Geographers.

The program will include presentations by graduate and undergraduate students about their original research and findings.

According to Dr. Paul Marr, a professor in Shippensburg’s geography–earth science department and president of the division, “It provides a great opportunity for students to hear original research.”
