SU planetarium to present summer program May 7

Dibert Planetarium at Shippensburg University will present “Our Summer Skies” at 7:30 p.m. May 7. 

The program highlights the summer star patterns, such as the summer triangle, the Milky Way and Scorpio the scorpion which receive the most of the attention, but will also include the many deep sky objects in Sagittarius. 

The planetarium is in Franklin Science Center. Tickets are $1 for adults and 50 cents for children. For reservations, send an e-mail to or call 717-532-2248.
