Student business organization earns national honor
University’s student chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management
(SHRM) has earned a 2012-2013 Superior Merit Award from the national
organization as recognition of its excellence during the year.
It is the fifth consecutive year the group won the award.

SHRM, according to its website, is the world’s largest association
devoted to human resource management with more than 250,000 members in more than 140 countries. Founded in 1948, SHRM has more
than 575 affiliated professional chapters.
