Shippensburg University will host a program Sept. 26 as part of Banned & Challenged Books Week Sept. 22 to 28.

The program, free and open to the public, is at 3:30 p.m. Sept. 26 in room 106 of Ezra Lehman Memorial Library.

Four members of the campus community will discuss the book Fifty Shades of Grey, one of the titles on this year top 10 challenged books list. Panelists are Dr. Kate Clay, associate professor of history/philosophy; Stepanie Erdice, director of the Women’s Center; Christy Fic, instruction librarian; Dr. Sara Grove, professor of political science; and Dr. Rebecca Ward, director of the Women’s & Gender Studies program.

The library will also feature an exhibit on banned books during the week on the lower level of the building.
