SU to host Colleges Against Cancer powder puff football
tournament
Shippensburg University students in Relay For Life will host
the first Colleges Against Cancer powder puff football tournament from noon to 4
p.m. Oct. 28 at Shippensburg Township Park.
Money raised from the event will go toward the 2013 Relay
for Life April 19 and 20.
Sarah Antonelli, a junior psychology major, is organizing
the event. She was diagnosed with cancer at the age of 14 and has been cancer
free ever since. “All of the donations for registering go directly towards
the American Cancer Society benefiting the work they do for cancer patients,
family members, and research,” she said.
Members of the community are invited to attend.
