Hello students! On behalf of the orientation team, I'd like to wish you good luck this semester. We hope your transition to Shippensburg University has gone well thus far. For those of you who will be joining us in January, plans are underway for our spring orientation program and we will soon open up applications for orientation leader positions. Why did you choose Shippensburg? I chose Shippensburg because when I met with the coach he made me feel welcome on the campus. Once I arrived, the Shippensburg community made me feel like I belong here!
What is your favorite thing Ship has to offer? My favorite thing that Ship has to offer is the faculty and staff. They are truly professionals and have definitely shown me that they are here to help us, whether it is during their office hours and even if I am not in one of their classes!
If you could give any one piece of advice to incoming students, what would it be? I would tell students to make sure they get involved! Shippensburg offers so many great opportunities
it would be a shame to not take full advantage of them during your time here. Make sure you keep an eye on your academics though! Good luck!
