Look for the opportunities in difficulties, not the difficulties in opportunities!

Why did you choose Shippensburg?

Shippensburg University's John Grove Business School is an internationally accredited business school and one of the best on the East Coast. That, in addition to its close-knit small community and a family-like feel, made me feel welcome immediately to the Shippensburg University family.

What is your favorite thing Ship has to offer?

The one-on-one relationships with Shippensburg University's professors, deans, and faculty members are something that most other schools do not have. Students can know that the professor that stands up in front of them in class is not just going to give them a lecture and then test them, but give students an opportunity to meet, learn and converse with people who really do care. That is what I love about Shippensburg University.

If you could give any one piece of advice to incoming students, what would it be?

Join one of the many extracurricular clubs or organizations around the campus, like the Rotaract club, a fraternity or sorority, or DECA. Not only will this help incoming students forge new relationships within the members of the student body, but it will help create lasting relationships with faculty and Alumni that can catapult their career to new heights!
