Student Schedule

Residence Hall Check In, Old Main Circle

9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Families can drive up around the circle to grab their key and a map to their hall Staff will be waiting at the halls to assist with getting carts and moving in items.


Lunch

12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.


ID Pictures, Bookstore, Campus Tours

1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Open time to accomplish these tasks. Students will get IDs taken and staff can give tours of campus or families can check out the bookstore.


University Welcome

2:00 p.m. - 2:25 p.m.

Hear greetings from university representatives. Review orientation materials and the program schedule following the presentation.


Paying for College

2:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Representatives from Financial Aid will give a brief presentation and general overview, as well as answer your questions. Financial Aid will be available all day for individual appointments and more specific concerns at the Money Matters location.


Schedule Hand Out/Advising Information

3:10 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Get academic advisement and class schedule review. Students will receive direction from the dean's meeting on locations for advisement and information about their class schedule.


Meet Your Shipmates

4:10 p.m. - 4:45 p.m.


Closing

4:45 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.


Dinner

5:00 p.m.

Ship Summer Read Program

Be a part of the unique opportunity for incoming students to read a book and spend time with a Ship faculty, staff or administrator in a small group before classes begin!
