AMP Approval

On November 14, 2012 the AMP Task Force submitted the final version of the Framing Narrative, Vision Statement, Strategies, Suggested Activities, and Implementation Plan sections to the groups listed in step 1 below for their review and approval.  Along with their approval, these groups provided feedback for additional revisions to AMP.  On April 12, 2013, a revised version of AMP (dated 4/12/13; incorporating the feedback from step 1 below) was submitted to the groups listed in step 2 below for their review and approval - Academic Affairs Council and Ship's APSCUF Executive Committee.  The approval status of the Framing Narrative, Vision Statement, Strategies, Suggested Activities, and Implementation Plan sections of the AMP is shown in the following table.

AMP in the Planning and Budget Process

AMP goals/objectives 2.1, 2.2, 3.1, and 4.1 were the focus of an Academic Affairs workshop held on November 19, 2012.  For each of these four goals and objectives, participants were asked to consider two questions: 1) What are we doing now to support these goals and objectives?, and 2)  What do we plan to do in 2013-2015 to support these goals and objectives?   This workshop included academic department chairs and faculty leaders, college/school deans, and representatives from the various other offices and units within Academic Affairs.  The outcomes of this workshop are pending.
