Parent's Frequently Asked Questions

How do I verify my child's enrollment for insurance or loan deferment purposes?

The student may print an enrollment verification certificate by logging into the Student Information System, click on Registrar then Enrollment Verification.  Follow the instructions to link to the National Student Clearing House where you can print your verification.

If my child was denied admission last semester, how does he/she become admitted this semester?

 Contact the Admissions Office at admiss@ship.edu or (717) 477-1231.

We tried to see grades online and received an error message. How do we correct the error?

Be sure the student has entered the correct login information.  If so, the student should contact the Registrar's Office with the exact error message in order that the staff may correct the error.

My child transferred to another college. How do we provide the new college with a record of attendance and grades from Shippensburg?

The student should request an official transcript by printing the transcript request form from the Registrar's page.

My child received an academic dismissal letter. How can we view his/her grades for the current semester?

The student may view grades from the Student Information System or may request an official transcript by printing the transcript request form from the Registrar's page.
