Prospective Student

Dear Prospective Student in the Organizational Development & Leadership Program:

Hello! I wish to introduce myself to you as the coordinator of the Organizational Development & Leadership (ODL) Program here at Shippensburg. I came to this position with a background in leadership development and education, almost two decades of working with adult learner and graduate programs, and twenty-plus years’ teaching experience in sociology and leadership studies. It is a pleasure to be in the Sociology/Anthropology Department at Shippensburg and working with all of you.

Thank you for the interest you have expressed in the ODL program. Please note that other graduate level courses in the concentrations can be used as well as those listed on the brochure. Guidelines for the internship experience are also included.

More courses in the ODL program are offered on a cyclical basis on campus and at the Dixon University Center in Harrisburg. However, the only two concentrations available at Harrisburg are Business and Public Organizations. If you need an official application packet from the Admissions Office please contact them directly at 477-1231. I encourage you to apply early so the semester you wish to start does not fill before you apply.

I am the advisor to all ODL students so please call me to talk or set up a time to meet in person to answer your questions. You can reach my office at (717) 477-1257 or by email at bjdeni@ship.edu. I am here to help you plan out your graduate program. I hope to hear from you soon.

With my regards,

Barbara J. Denison, Ph.D.
