CHAMPIONSHIP:
Selected to 2012 College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District At-Large Team (swimming). To be eligible, a student-athlete must be a varsity starter or key reserve, maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.30 on a scale of 4.00, have reached sophomore athletic and academic standing.
Multiple PSAC placewinner in 2012:
- won a PSAC championship in the 400-yard individual medley in 4:07.50
- third in the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 1:54.32.
- PSAC finalist in the 200-yard breaststroke.
- Last season, Minford became the first SU swimmer in 18 years to set a new school record after posting a 200-yard breaststroke time of 2:06.08. He already ranks among Ship’s top IM and breaststroke swimmers of all time.
