The Vagina Monologues

Eve Ensler 2The award winning epidsodic play, The Vagina Monologues, by Eve Ensler has been sponsored on campus by the Women's Center since 2004.  V-Day is a global activist movement and an organized response against violence toward women and girls, including rape, battery, incest and sex slavery.  It is a catalyst that promotes creative events to increase consciousness, raise money, unify and strengthen existing anti-violence efforts.  90% of the proceeds from this benefit go to charity, the remaining 10% is used to support production costs.

Get Involved - Be a Volunteer

The Women's Center at Shippensburg University offers diverse opportunities for student volunteers.  One example is The Vagina Monologues.  Look to see how much fun you can have and at the same time tackle a serious issue to end violence against women and girls.
