Brittany Torrez-Alvarez (Because He Liked to Look At It)
Brittany is a junior at Shippensburg University. This is her third year performing in the monologues and was also casted as Mrs. Boyle in the university’s 2011 fall play, The Mousetrap. Throughout high school she was involved in pit orchestra for several musical productions. She currently serves as Associate Editor for The Reflector and Spawning Pool and is very excited to be a part of this year’s cast.

What would your vagina wear? An olive green Skin Graft ruffled skirt with combat boots and brass knuckles.
What does your vagina smell like? You tell me.
What does your vagina want? An Eggnog Chai Latte!
Deb Mathes (Introduction – Woman 3)
The 2013 Vagina Monologues will be Deb’s first ever experience with the monologues. She’s super-duper excited to be a part of such an amazing program, especially in its tenth year at Shippensburg University!
If your vagina could talk, what would it say? I do what I want!
What would your vagina wear? Nothing; my vagina is a nudist!
What would your vagina smell like? The wind when leaves are burning.
What does your vagina want? To be free and itself!
Kate Messenger (The Flood)
Kate graduated in May 2011 from Shippensburg University with a Major in Sociology and a Minor in Women and Gender Studies. I am a current Graduate Student at Shippensburg University in Organizational Development and Leadership. I am a Graduate Assistant for the Office of Veteran Services on Campus. I have had a great deal of support and encouragement from my family, friends, and the campus community. Thank you all. It may have taken a few years, but this bird has finally found her wings...

Caitlin Kant (Short Skirt - Woman 2)
Caitlin is a senior BSED history major. This is her second time appearing in The Vagina Monologues having previously performed as the seven year old Coochi Snorcher. She would like to thank everyone involved with the show for making this such a positive experience.

Dr. Ward (Interviewer of 6 Year Old Girl)
Dr. Ward is the Director of the Women’s and Gender Studies Program and Associate Professor of Teacher Education.
If my vagina got dressed what would it wear? Yoga pants and comfy slippers!
If my vagina could talk, what would it say? Be a Women’s and Gender Studies minor and work for social justice!
What does your vagina smell like? Struggle, pain and triumph!
What does your vagina want? To be heard, valued, respected and treated with kindness.
Carissa Strohecker (The Woman Who Loved To Make Vaginas Happy)
This is her first year participating in the Vagina Monologues. Carissa is a junior majoring in Psychology with a minor in Theatre at Shippensburg University, but is no stranger to the stage, as she has performed in numerous shows with Act V Productions on campus and thirteen shows overall. Most recently she was Evelyn in “The Shape of Things”. Carissa is thrilled to be a part of The Vagina Monologues this year!
If your vagina could talk, what would it say? “Always remember to love yourself”!
What would your vagina wear? My favorite black dress!
What would your vagina smell like? The ocean!
What does your vagina want? Equality, so that both men and women can choose who they want to date without judgment.
Javonna Wylie (My Vagina Is My Village – Woman 2)
Javonna is a sophomore at Shippensburg. The 2013 performance of the Vagina Monologues will be Javonna’s first year involved in the monologues. Previously she has been interested in speaking contest and enjoys reciting poetry. Javonna looks forward to becoming a part of the tradition and is happy to be involved in the tenth year of the Vagina Monologues at Shippensburg University!

Kelsey Reube (Introduction – Woman 2)
After meeting Eve Ensler this past summer at the National Organization for Women, senior Kelsey Reube, decided she wanted to be a part of the Vagina Monologues 10th year at Shippensburg University! She is extremely excited to be a part of this year's performance and wants to make people think more about vaginas and what they deserve!
If your vagina could talk, what would it say? I'm just as important to please as my heart.
What would your vagina wear? A flowy summer dress!
What would your vagina smell like? A sweet mix of vanilla and coconut!
What does your vagina want? To be treated with respect!
Kim Eastman (Not So Happy Fact)
The 2013 performance of The Vagina Monologues is Kim’s first year with the monologues. She is a sophomore business major and excited to be a part of the monologues.
If your vagina could talk, what would it say? Get a boyfriend already!
What would your vagina wear? A long elegant pink silk dress that glitters from crystals!
What would your vagina smell like? Green apples, not red! (Red apples killed Snow White.)
What does your vagina want? The ability to pick out a winner from the losers, because obviously my brain doesn’t do a good job!
Olivia DiBella (Reclaiming Cunt)
Olivia is a junior and this is her 2nd year in the monologues. She made her debut as a proud vagina crusader as the "Little Coochie Snorcher That Could – 13 Year Old" monologue last year. She is super pumped and proud to be a part of the 10th year of The Vagina Monologues.
If your vagina could talk, what would it say? Make love, not war!
What would your vagina wear? A sundress!
What would your vagina smell like? Sandalwood!
What does your vagina want? To be its self, free of judgments!
Rachel Glass (Short Skirt – Woman 3)
Rachel is a senior, majoring in Early Childhood Education at Shippensburg University and is student teaching this semester. This is her second year in the monologues (last year as “Wear and Say”), and she has also been in several other productions here on campus. Some favorite roles include Mrs. Shames in Our Town and Lucinda the Stepsister in Into the Woods. Rachel would like to thank the cast and crew of the Vagina Monologues for always being so lovely, her friends and Bj for loving her and putting up with her, and her parents for always supporting her. Sequoia Climons (My Vagina Is My Village – Woman 1)
The 2013 performance of the Vagina Monologues will be sophomore’s Sequoia Climons first year. I am very excited to have the opportunity to be involved in the tenth year of the Vagina Monologues at Shippensburg University!

Shannon Davis (The Little Coochi Snorcher That Could – 5 and 16 Year Old)
This year’s performance will be Shannon’s third year being involved with the Vagina Monologues. Shannon is a returning student to Shippensburg University and is enthusiastic to again be working with the extraordinary, strong women that participate in the Monologues each year. She would also like to extend a special thank you and show her appreciation to her partner Ryan, for all of his love and support and for always reminding her that every future, no matter what form it takes, is guided by the beauty and desire of ones dreams.
If your vagina could talk, what would it say? I have the strength of creation and growth and to bring beings into this world and the composure to hold my temper and not take it out again.
What would your vagina wear? She is a nudist, but on special occasions enjoys Cos-play.
What would your vagina smell like? Warm fresh baked spice bread.
What does your vagina want? For all the Vaginas of the world to be taking care of and loved as much as she is.
Shelby Hawk (6 Year Old)
The 2013 performance will be senior Shelby Hawk’s first year involved in the Vagina Monologues. She is involved in the Social Work Organization on campus, as well as REACT, and is a Women and Gender Studies minor. She is nervous about her first performance, but is excited to celebrate the tenth year of the monologues at Shippensburg University.
If your vagina could talk, what would it say? The lyrics to whatever song is stuck in her head.
What would your vagina wear? A really big smile!
What would your vagina smell like? The Yankee Candle ‘Midsummer’s Night’!
What does your vagina want? RESPECT!
Stephanie DeCarolis (Wear/Say – Woman 3)
This year’s performance of the Vagina Monologues will be Stephanie’s second year being involved. Last year (her junior year), she was one of the three women in the Introduction. Stephanie has been involved with other performances on campus such as, Urinetown, her freshman year. Stephanie had a great experience last year with the monologues and cannot wait for this year’s show.

What would your vagina wear? Lingerie!
What would your vagina smell like? Spring!
What does your vagina want? For everyone to get along!
Stephanie Diaz (Hair)
The 2013 performance of the Vagina Monologues will be senior Stephanie’s second year involved with the monologues here at Shippensburg. Previously she has performed the monologue as “The Little Coochie Snorcher that Could”. She is super excited to be working with such a strong group of women for the 10th annual performance of the monologues at Shippensburg.

What would your vagina wear? Converse sneakers and a tutu!
What would your vagina smell like? Bacon!
What does your vagina want? Equality and a society where a woman's worth are not decided by some ridiculous standard!
Tina Matos (I Was There In The Room)
Tina is a senior and this will be her first year involved in the monologues. Tina has previous theater experience and is extremely excited to have the opportunity to perform her first monologue during the tenth anniversary of the monologues at Shippensburg University!

What would your vagina wear? Yoga pants and a comfy t-shirt!
What would your vagina smell like? Daisies!
What does your vagina want? The freedom to do and say as she pleases without fear or consequences!
Vikki Glogg (Hey Miss Pat)
Vikki is a graduate student here at Shippensburg. She also did her undergraduate studies at Shippensburg and was a part of the Vagina Monologues during her last year. She continues to be a part of TVMs but will always be a Coochie Snorcher. She is working on her Masters in Counseling and loves the stage. Vikki is blessed and honored to be doing the anniversary monologue "Hey Miss Pat." Vikki would like to thank her family, friends, co-workers, and colleagues for all of their support!

Kayla Fyfe (Wear/Say – Woman 2)
The 2013 Vagina Monologues will be sophomore Kayla’s first year acting in the monologues. Kay is in the group monologue called “Wear and Say”.

Emilee Danielson (My Angry Vagina)
She is an Assistant Dean of Students and Director of Fraternity & Sorority Life. After appearances in The Vagina Monologues in 2003, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012, 2013 will mark her tenth appearance in the show. Emilee is thrilled and thankful to have been involved in this show for so long and she looks forward to participating in the future. She would like to thank the cast and crew for all of their work onstage and backstage. Emilee would also like to thank her audience in MA – thanks for supporting the show so that we can help others here and around the world, and at home – thanks to Tom, Nico and Marley for their endless support. Elizabeth Baker (Transgender Fact)

Stephanie Erdice (Director of the Women’s Center)
Stephanie is the Director of the Women’s Center here at Shippensburg University. The Vagina Monologues is one of her favorite Women’s Center programs because of its ability to deliver a strong, empowering message through performance and artistic expression. She admires Eve Ensler, The Vagina Monologues and V-Day visionary, and the 1 Billion women and men that rose up this month to fight violence.

Kaye-Lani DePaolo (Director)
Kaye-Lani is unbelievably honored and excited to be directing the 10th performance of the Vagina Monologues on Shippensburg campus. This year’s show will be my fourth year involved in the show. Previously she has performed “I Was There In The Room” and has also worked back stage.
