Why Study Mathematics at Ship?
The mathematics concentration in economics at Shippensburg University is especially well suited for students preparing for graduate study in economics, which has become increasingly focused upon mathematics and statistical analysis. We encourage you to take Mathematical Economics and Econometrics.
In addition to the 120 credits required to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in economics, you are required to complete 21 credits in mathematics and statistics courses to fulfill the minor requirements within this concentration. See the Undergraduate Catalog for specific course requirements.
