Tuition and Fees
Shippensburg University's tuition and fees are set by the State System of Higher Education's Board of Governors and/or Shippensburg University's Council of Trustees.
In July 2008, the Board of Governors for the State System of Higher Education approved a 3.5% increase in the tuition rate for the 2008-09 academic year.
Effective Fall 08, the Board of Governors approved a reduced undergraduate non-resident tuition rate for Maryland residents. The new tuition rate is 225% of the in-state rate
Fall 2008 bills will be mailed the week of July 21 and will be due August 11. Spring 2009 bills will be mailed the week of November 10 and will be due December 12. Spring 2009 incoming freshmen bills will be mailed December 1 and will be due December 24.
| NOTE: Delinquent Accounts -- No student shall be enrolled, receive a diploma, or receive a transcript until all previous accounts have been paid. Accounts delinquent for 90 days are turned over to the Pennsylvania Attorney General for Collection. |

Fall 2008 and Spring 2009 Semesters : Full-Time Tuition and Fees per semester
Undergraduate full time: 12-18 credits. Graduate full time: 9-15 credits. Additional tuition is billed at the part time (per credit) rate for any additional credits above the full time range. |
