Almost all programs in the College offer internship opportunities to help students prepare for their careers and make contacts for future employment. The practical hands-on nature of an internship is valuable in helping students gain professional experience and apply the skills they have acquired through their studies at Ship. If you are eager to learn more about the ins and outs of working in the public or private sector before you graduate, then this academic option may be for you. 

Internships in the College of Arts and Sciences begin in the department.  Please see your department chair or advisor for more information.  Click HERE for the college Application for Internship.  Internships for credit must be approved by the College of Arts and Sciences.

Deadlines for applications: for spring, December 1; for summer and fall, June 1.
