Exercise Science Honors Society
Founded in 2016, the purpose of the student-run Exercise Science Honors Society (ESHS) is to recognize Exercise Science Majors for their academic achievements and commitment to excellence. The ESHS serves the University through community service activities and by providing educational opportunities that benefit the local community. The ESHS has organized food drives for local food banks, academic career seminars, and provided service for community events like wellness fairs and road races.
The ESHS is open to any junior or senior student in the Exercise Science major who holds a GPA of 3.20 or higher. By joining the ESHS, students are able to create relationships with professionals in the workforce and gain insight regarding future career choices. ESHS membership is an asset when applying for a job, internship, or graduate school; and it also provides a way for students to give back to the program that has done so much for them.
If you are interested in joining the Exercise Science Honors Society, please contact the faculty advisor, Dr. Braun (email@example.com), who will refer you to the current society president.
