Admissions and Application Information for Cohort
- Students must have an associate degree in business or at least 48 transferable credits with a recommended 2.40 GPA or higher from an accredited institution.
- Students should have completed the following courses at an accredited institution prior to starting the cohort in Fall 2007 (HACC equivalents are in parentheses):
- ACC 200 Fundamental of Financial Accounting (ACCT 200)
- BSL 261 American Legal Environment (BUS 209 or BUS 201)
- ECO 113 Principles of Economics (ECO 201 and ECO 202)
- ISM 142 Business Computer Systems (CIS 105 and/or CIS 110)
- MAT 108 Finite Math (MATH 103)
- The following are prerequisite courses for upper level business courses and must be successfully completed by the date indicated.
- ACC 201 Managerial Accounting (ACCT 204) must be successfully completed by Fall 2008
- MAT 181 Applied Calculus I (MATH 110) must be successfully completed by Summer 2008
- Application deadline is Friday, June 1, 2007. Apply early even if you have courses in progress. Applications will be considered in the order they are received (cohort capacity is 25 students). Students will be notified the week of June 18, 2007 if there is sufficient enrollment to begin the cohort.
- Maximum capacity is 25 students. A minimum of 20 students will be required to begin this cohort in Harrisburg. Students must meet academic requirements prior to the cohort beginning Fall 2007 in order to be admitted to the cohort.
- You must apply by using a paper application with the BSBA Gen. Mgmt./ HBG code on it. The application can be obtained online at Application.

- Application fee is $30.00.
- An orientation session for admitted/confirmed students will be held prior to the Fall 2007 semester.
Courses during the fall and spring in the BSBA cohort will be offered one night a week for 12 weeks from 6:00 p.m. - 9:15 p.m. and courses during the summer will be offered two nights a week for 6 weeks from 6:00 p.m. - 9:15 p.m. Online courses will also be offered each semester and summer. Students who have not competed all of their general education or free elective requirements will need to complete the requirements at an accredited school (e.g., HACC) or via summer online through Shippensburg University with advisement.
