  • Students in two human communication studies classes at Shippensburg University are using their service-learning project to make a real difference in the lives of area families by providing food to stock King’s Kettle Food Pantry in Shippensburg. Read more about it.

  •  Dr. Eveline Lang currently devotes herself to the cause of animal welfare involving a host of complex activities required to provide shelter, daily care, rescue service, financial support, and training of volunteers for a charitable establishment Dr. Lang co-founded: The Hawthorne Acres Sanctuary. This is a nine-to-five work-a-day job all by itself. But, Dr. Lang seems to manage it with all else she has to do professionally.  More Information
