Off Campus Housing


NEW: Stone Ridge Commons is now an off-campus housing option for students who want to live next to campus, but enjoy an independent lifestyle. Located adjacent to Heiges Field House, Stone Ridge offers spacious one, two or four bedroom options. New contemporary living room furniture, lighting and trendy color schemes make these apartments the best around. Amenities include an on-site laundry facility, workout room, study rooms, and an activity lounge. For your convenience and safety, this private, secure building offers key card access.

College Park Commons is a 74-unit garden-style apartment community located next to Seth Grove Stadium. College Park offers one, two, and three large bedroom options, with full kitchens and spacious common living areas. Outdoor amenities include large balconies and porches. The Commons Club House, which includes game rooms and study areas, is conveniently located next to an indoor laundry facility. Abundant outdoor lighting and security cameras are provided for your safety.

Hot Point Commons is a luxurious, quiet, 21- town home community just a short walk from campus. All homes offer four bedrooms, two and one half bathrooms, a full-kitchen, spacious living room and dining room, free in-unit washer and dryer, large private patios, as well as central fire alarm and sprinkler systems.

Local newspapers are another good resource for off-campus housing. The News Chronicle is published on Tuesdays and Fridays (717-532-4101) and the Shippensburg Sentinel is published on Wednesdays and Saturdays (717-530-2444). Both can be found in local convenience stores, on campus in the Cumberland Union Building, and in the Lehman Library on campus.
