Ship serves during annual MLK Day of Service

Shippensburg University faculty, staff and students donated their time and talent during the MLK Day of Service on Jan. 27.

The annual event gives the Shippensburg University community a change to complete service projects in honor of Martin Luther King Jr.

Volunteers spent their time at the Boys & Girls Club, Shippensburg Public Library and Shippensburg Little League.

On campus, students created cards of encouragement for residents at a local retirement community and painted kindness rocks that will spread kind words across the community.
