<![CDATA[<body><H3><strong><b>Shippensburg</b></strong><strong><b> University</b></strong><strong><b> Announces New Master of Social Work (MSW)</b></strong></H3>
<P> Millersville and Shippensburg University, in a historic joint arrangement, will begin offering an MSW program in Fall 2006. The program was approved by the Board of Governors of the State System of Higher Education on October 27, 2005. The program was designed according to Council on Social Work Education accreditation guidelines. The application for pre-candidacy has been made, and final approval, retroactive to the Fall of 2006, is expected in the 2008-09 academic year.</P>
<P>The joint program will include a mix of traditional campus based instruction and distance education technology and allow students to take courses at the campus of their choice. This exciting new program has already generated a great deal of interest from professionals across <st1:State
w:st="on">Pennsylvania</st1:State>. For full consideration for the first MSW class at Shippensburg University campus, application materials should be submitted by March 1<SUP>st</SUP>.</P>
