Ship hosts American foreign policy guest panel
Shippensburg University will host the panel “How Modern America Shapes and is Shaped by the World” on Feb. 19 at 7:00 p.m. in Grove Hall Forum. The American foreign policy guest panel features three foreign policy experts with a combined 90 years of experience.
J. Sherwoord McGinnis is a retired Foreign Service officer with over 30 years of experience in European security, rule of law, governance, economic development and foreign policy. He serves on the faculties of Dickinson College and the U.S. Army War College, teaching national security and foreign policy processes.
Retired Col. Jim Boling is a 34-year veteran with four decades of experience in the national security community. Currently, he serves as a RAND senior analyst for the Office of the Secretary of Defense Defense Institution Building Program that strengthens partner nations’ defense capabilities in Central Asia and the Caucasus.
John Aclin is a retired career national intelligence officer with over 30 years of experience as a technical and regional intelligence analyst and as a senior scientist. He has served in various roles throughout his career including Chair for Defense Intelligence Studies at the U.S. Army War College and as associate Chief Scientist for the Defense Intelligence Agency.
