Shippensburg University's 'Diggin' History!' returns

Shippensburg University's "Diggin' History!" series returns on Wednesday, April 4 at 7:00 p.m. in Dauphin Humanities Center 151. Timothy French '08M will discuss the Cold War legacy in Bulgaria and Romania.  

French earned his masters degree in applied history from Shippensburg University. He is an instructor of history at Lord Fairfax Community College in Middletown, Virginia. He has traveled extensively in Eastern Europe, and will examine the ways the Communist past has been preserved and remembered in Bulgaria and Romania, particularly in the monuments and infrastructure that remains today in both countries.
