Ship hosts Dauphin County coroner  talk on opioid crisis

Dauphin County Coroner Graham Hetrick will speak at Shippensburg University on March 20 at 7:30 p.m. in Old Main chapel. Hetrick’s lecture, “A Look at America’s Insatiable Appetite for Drugs: Does Addiction Discriminate?” will discuss the nationwide opioid crisis and its impact within diverse cultural groups in America.

During Hetrick’s 27-year career he has determined the cause and manner of death to over 13,000 cases. He also is the star of the Investigation Discovery show “The Coroner: I speak for the dead.”
